Some important updates recently released concern the Digital Communications component for Mago4 and Mago.net, Italian localization.

Edited by Marketing Department

The updates of the Digital Communications for Mago4 and Mago.net contain some improvements for the electronic invoicing, with particular regard to the additional fields required by the Mass Market on the XML layout.

This update provides for a parameterization that allows you to use the Net Price as a Unit Price and, consequently, not to report on the electronic invoice the discount / increase applied to the Unit Value. The choice to hide the discount / increase can be made in general on the parameters of the company or individual customer and affects the XML of all documents subject to electronic invoicing of customers for which the parameterization will be valid.

The component replaces the one already present in Mago4 2.4 and Mago.net 3.14.6, and can be installed according to the procedure described in the HelpCenter.

It is important to remember that installation of the package does not require the updating of vertical or customized modules that may be installed together with the ERP software.

Updates to the Digital Communications component are available in the download area (on the "family" page of the related product) for Mago4 2.4 and Mago.net 3.14.6.

ERP GDPR compliant

On May 25th, 2018 the new General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR, enters into force.

Edited by Marketing Department

The current legal framework on the protection of personal data has been reformed by the new European regulation on personal data protection (EU Regulation 2016/679 also referred to by the acronym GDPR).

This regulation is actually the most important element of a comprehensive European reform of the subject, that concerns other European directives and international treaties.

According to the principle of responsibility envisaged by the new regulation, controllers are entrusted with the task of autonomously deciding on the methods, guarantees and limits of data processing, in order to guarantee adequate protection.

Pursuant to the same EU Regulation 2016/679, and as controller of the data, Microarea is consistent with the aforementioned GDPR regulation.

The General Data Protection Regulation, also known as GDPR, is the european regulation about privacy and data that will be operating in few days.

There is a lot of excitement around the theme and this happens for many reasons. Moreover, its impact is really vast: the GDPR concerns the companies that manage any kind of personal data. File XML payment orders

Recently, two procedures for Mago4 have been developed, dedicated to the Swiss and Hungarian localizations and able to generate the ISO 20022 XML files for the payment orders.

Edited by Marketing Department

XML is becoming the international standard in the transmission of telematic files. The XML (Extensible Markup Language) is a modular meta-language that allows you to define other formats and manage the exchange of information of data structures across different devices and platforms. Allowing to describe other languages, XML is able to create custom structures.

The electronic payment files created for suppliers may have different formats based on XML. In payments to suppliers, the XML files are generally taking the directives of the international standard ISO20022 SEPA format.

In this regard, Mago4 has recently made available the procedures for printing the payments to suppliers on XML files, for Hungary and Switzerland.

Specifically, in Hungarian localization, the files for SEPA credit transfers to suppliers are generated according to specifications issued by the Hungarian SEPA Association, which slightly differ from the ISO20022 standard, both because the base currency of the country is not Euro, but the Hungarian forint (HUF), and because payments in other currency are allowed in the file.

In the Swiss localization of Mago4, the introduction of SEPA ISO20022 functionality in payment orders to suppliers has been realized in cooperation with PostFinance, the Swiss financial institution that provided the documentation for the Swiss SEPA, thus enabling us to test the Mago4 XML file. The XML file is generated for all types of payment in Switzerland, and it is not limited just to bank transfers.

In the same Swiss localization, Mago4 will see in the future the adjustment to XML format even for files related to collections through PVR bulletin, the standard payment slip for incoming payment processes.
